every few months a friend of mine hosts a Craft Day, she chooses a fun group project, and we gather together for girl-talk, crafting, snacks, and sharing. its kind of a book club, with no literature, and quite a lil mess afterwards. its always a good time and I usually learn a new crafty skill. this time we made paper flowers. these turned out to be a colorful way to brighten my space as I patiently wait for Spring to warm up and produce the real thing. wanna try it? just do a search for “DIY paper flowers.” these would be awesome as wedding decor, nursery decor, or a centerpiece, and they’re so simple to make that a creative kid could turn out a pretty fantastic bouquet.
